Seeing the ARC troopers in action in the Star Wars Clone War animated series was pretty epic. Even though the eps. were about 5mins each for the first season, I still look back on them fondly.
I was impressed with the Star Wars Empire at War: Forces of Corruption Republic at War mod <--(yes that's a mouth full to say). They even put in a ARC trooper squads more of them armed with blaster carbines while one in every squad was armed with the Rotary blaster (mini gun blaster).

Well that's a more plausible squad formation, balanced with many rifles and one MG for support

It certainly is entertaining watching them take down multiple squads of basic battle droids. The Super battle droids on the other hand are deadly with their rapid fire wrist blasts and then there are the driodekas.

Nah, it's from the ARCs, tho some commanders also carry dual DC-17s, kamas and pauldrons. I think those are symbols of rank and elite status.
Not sure how the engineer kit looks tho, there aren't many pictures or figures of them.

They use the same trooper armor, but a little heavier, and they had dispensers that held Bacta, ammunation, and some Fusion Cutters. They also carry shotguns and pistols. :3 You can see examples in Battlefront 2 :3

Wel, Battlefront II doesn't really follow the canon, since the classes are made from recycled models XD
The heavy trooper is in fact Commander Bacara, the sniper class is a airborne paratrooper, even worse, the clone commander is actually a Galactic Marine. Can't really be sure about engineers since Commander Faie wore the same helmet in some comic I've never read.
But yeah, I think they probably carried the DC-15S blaster instead of shotguns, it's the closest equivalent to a M4 carbine in the SW universe.

I'm more of a fan of the original Clone Trooper look in Episode II, but this armor still looks cool. Still, Episode II Clone Armor is better looking, thanks to the Republic Commandos. XD

Commandos had a different set of armor, funnily enough, it never needed a replacement like its Phase 1 counterpart XD
Well yes, Ep. II clone trooper armor had that "We're on the good guys side" appearance, it didn't looked as evil as its successor.
