Description It's been a long time I should have drawn a Carapaceon, as I'm a great fan of MHFU's Hermitaur, Ceanataur and Shen Gaoren. (Even though each one of them can be painful as hell when they decide to.) So here comes a Carapaceon for MHHF!

Daishô Cerviataur
Jap: Daishou Dozomi ダイショウ ドゾミ
Type: Carapaceon
Element: Water
Habitat: Volcano
Title: Switching Rock Crab
Jap Title: 替岩蟹
Weak to: Water
Weakness sign: Froths purple bubbles
Rage sign: First burrows and change shell, then froths white foam.
Signature move: Shell Slam

Daishô is a volcanic black-shelled Carapaceon which has made volcano's monsters's skullshells his home, like Hermitaur and Ceanataur. However, Unlike them respectively carrying Monoblos/Diablos and Gravios skullshells, Cerviataur can have both Uragaan skull or Agnaktor skull. Actually, it changes very often his shell, each time he's entering in rage, and his moveset will be different depending on whether he bears Ura or Agna skull.
Regardless of what shell he carries, he mainly attacks with his shovel-like pincers, trying to fling rocks to the hunter, causing a sort of "landslide". He can also fake to trip on the ground and crush the hunter under his side.
With his Uragaan shell, he gets the ability of rolling following a spiral pattern by retracting his legs against his body, and will use a sort of shell slam, mimicking the Jaw slam of a living Uragaan. He can also use a spinning attack. Finally, he can perform a powerful jumping slam, in which he will bounce in the air before using his shell as a powerful hammer.
With his Agnaktor shell, he's able to shoot a circular water blast from both his own mouth or the skull's one. He can also use a digging attack a bit different from others carapaceons, as he will catapult himself out of the ground, piercing the hunter with the skull. He possesses also an attack in which he will down his skull and charge fiercely backwards, using it like a spear. Finally, he can attach to the ceiling and shoot a charged waterbeam on a specific target, which can be hard to dodge.
His shells cannot be broken but only damaged, however, when damaged, the Cerviataur will lay off his skull and immediately go to another area, popping out the ground with a brand new shell of the other type. The skull laying on the ground can be mined once to collect an Uragaan Jaw or an Agnaktor Beak.

That makes sense, and I like how you came up with the attacks and everything!

Great design and idea! I have to ask though, why use water as its element? Is it able to get in the lava?

Well, every MHFU's Carapaceon has a water element, though TerraShogun Ceanataur was weak to water on its shell. I kept that logic for Daishou. And as a Volcano-dwelling creature, the animations should make it able to walk through lava as well. :3
