Awesome idea! I actually played the original Metroid on NES so this invokes a fair bit of nostalgia for me, at the time "Justin Bailey" definitely was the coolest easter egg in any game by far.Ā Ā

Oh it was a complete shocker back in those days, considering everything hinted at Samus being a guy. There were even theories back then of Doom Guy being under the helmet lol.

I'm a huge fan of scrunched female toes, i love a lot when the girls curl their toes, so i can tell you with absolute certainty,
that you have done a beautiful work, perfect in the smallest details with excellent precision.
Indeed, on her, you managed to faithfully create even her second toe of both feet,
which curl right above her third toe (correct me if i wrong). Just like in a real girl!
Really my compliments! ššš š

I will never forget the origins of games, since I grew up in that era. I also like to "respectfully nod back" to them on occasion like this.

The Metroid and Zelda Series are very special to me, since both were born in the same year as me 1986.
The First Metroid was released on 6 August 1986 and Zelda was released on 21 February 1986.
Btw I know that Kid Icarus was released 1986 too (19 Dezember 1986),
but this Series is not so popular and famous as the other two, so I don't wanted to mention it to much.
You needed to be pretty good in Metroid and beat that game in under 3 hours to see Samus under her Suit
and if you beat the game in under 1 hour you coud actually see her tummy.
If you reached one of those two endings you could play in your next playthrough Samus without her Suit and with green hair.
Of course many people had problems to finish that game so quick, so they needed special help.Ā
That's where the Justin Bailey Code comes in (one of the most famous codes like the Konami Code).
All you had to do was go the Metroid Passwort Screen and enter Justin Bailey and nothing but dashes
and tada you could play a Suitless Samus with green hair (look at the picture NecDaz91 made).

Another really interesting tidbit, is that the 2 versions where you see Samus at end game after beating it in a specific time frame, she actually had brown/red hair. These leads to believe her hair was intended to be brown/red but due to hardware/bit limitations it was green in game.
I chose to go with the green version anyway though, because I felt it stood out more as a whole for that "justin bailey" easter egg theme.
