Now both of these are from the game called Code Veronica a spin off game which was originally planed to be the actual 3rd instalment to the series before capcom change their minds and made Nemesis the 3rd game instead.
The Bandersnatch has very interesting story, it's not your typical tyrant like the one next to it, it's actually an offshoot of the tyrants.
What do i mean by that, well you see the reason why tyrant are so unique in the world of resident evil is that they're not easy to make unlike other B.O.W what requires is someone who has the genetic makeup to become a tyrant is very rare, like 1 out of 10000%. (lucky for umbrella that they found one within their ranks and gave him a promotion and using his DNA to make hundreds of tyrant clones)
So that's why they made Bandersnatch as it cost less to make then the tyrants, anyhow the bandersnatch can get around the place because of it's disfigured, overly large, stretchy arm and also it could crush somebody head like it's nothing.
