When I saw AFI I was about one row behind the bar in front of the stage. I was farther back for Gallows though. D':

And a lawn.

I don't think I'd want to be right up against the barricades, tbh.
I don't want those security guards touching meeee. xcccc
One or two rows away from them would be ideal.

Ohhh. Outdoor arena then.

Yeah. I was right up against it for a different concert and the security part wasn't bad but later that night and the next day I had bruises on my hip bones and my knees. One of my knees was completely bruised. x.x

I haven't been to an outdoor arena. o: I dun think I'd like it as much, it seems like it'd be really hot.. D:

It's always hot in the pit no matter where you are, but I wouldn't know about the other seats.
There was a nice breeze blowing from the lawn into the pit at the GD/AFI show, though. And I was close enough to get sprayed with the squirt gun during GD's set a few times. c:
And I got beer spilled on my head.
