Description I'm a big fan of the Star Wars: Rebels cartoon show, and I have been ever since it started up at the end of the Clone Wars series. One of the things I like the most about it are the different lightsaber designs, most notably that of the Inquisitors.

Able to be used both as a single- and double-bladed lightsaber, and even being able to set the blade emitters rotating around the hilt, it's a very cool weapon.

I do call bullshit on them enabling you to fly though. XD

One thing I have noticed a lot in reading Star Wars canon is that Jedi really aren't very innovative when it comes to coming up with new things, whereas the Sith are as creative as can be. I think the overall opinion is that Jedi frown upon relying on gimmicks, whereas Sith will go for anything that can conceivably give them an advantage.

Another thing that the Expanded Universe shows is that, while most Jedi tend not to innovate, they are not slow to imitate. So, I figured it would only be a matter of time before a Jedi, or at least a non-Sith, came up with a version of their own of this fascinating weapon.

So, me and Timothy Henri joined forces again to work out a Jedi-made spinning lightsaber. Came out very elegant didn't it?

Just wait until you see the Jedi I came up with that made it.

I always wondered how they could use just one hand with this weapon it must take eons to master 0_0 But it is cool. I really wish they used this weapon more. I never understood why it enabled you to fly. Maybe they use the force to help propel them to the direction you want? But force levitation was already around before this xD

I like the purple. I wish we saw this weapon with different colors. I would have loved to see Jedi temple Elite Guards with this weapon.

These things have always been a mysetry to me. How can it emit the blades while spining?

I have the same question. My guess would be that there's some kind of magnetized channel inside the ring, that channels the plasma generated in the hilt out to the two beam emitters on either end.

Just guesswork though of course.

Hmmm... Grand Inquistor's lightsaber? I guess this is how his saber looks like if he returns to the light side, minus this Old Republic-esque aesthetics.
