Drew this for my wife as a birthday present a couple of years ago. I think Basil was about 6 months old and it was the first drawing I'd done for about 20 + years.
She was nevertheless veryl pleased, although it's quite rough around the edges when I look back now.
The little git has changed from Black and Tan to silver/blue and tan now. And looks nothing like this anymore.
I suppose I will just have to do another portrait soon!

I used pencils from 3H to 6B and used a grid method for scaling.
