So, all these are still works in progress, but this is how I see Rex Mason/Metamorpho on the Flash.
I used Tom Welling because his named popped up when I googled fan cast Metamorpho. But it also makes sense. A WB/CW alum. I drew over his face and the wrestler body I used and came up with a few looks.
A version where his morphing body is just out of control. I tried to make it look like the rocks were something costume designers could make with foam like materials. His face is like if it was being pulled and taking away details or features. No hair.
Him after escaping the hospital in stolen scrubs. What happened to the big jagged rocks? Maybe when he put his scrubs on they subliminally went down. Without his trying. Not controlled yet.
The same scrubs but with maybe his jacket from before his change. To remind the viewer that this is still Rex.
Him in street clothes and jacket. Maybe his jacket had a hood attached. To hide his mutated face.
Street clothes and jacket and a hood. Before I drew the scrubs or super suit. Street clothes I thought he would probably where most of the time.
Shirtless to show off his mutated body. Still want to remind viewers of his awesome mutated powers. Cheap-ish chest piece.
Him in his super suit with and without his jacket. (I imagine Cisco creates it fir him after the team finds him. All the electrodes, wires, stitched in wires, and rock/honeycomb patterned panels, help him control his powers. And keep the effects cost down by covering parts.)
Finally his body/super suit where he is more human looking with scarred up arms and legs. I could see them doing this too. To cut down on cost.
