This disgusted James knowing his mother fell back in love to the man who left her with two of his sons when they were just three and one years of age. What made it worst was that he came back with Nate who James despised. James hates Nate because he was the one their father chose to raise, and though he wouldn't admit it, he was a little jealous that Nate grew up with their father and he and Terrence didn't. It was easier to hate them because of what they were. Hybrids. Their father wasn't technically a Hybrid, but their grandmother was and it was his genes that gave Nate his ears and tail. James also hated the fact that Terrence didn't share his views and since Terrence was the only one he had expectations for, he grew to despise his family as a whole. Though he couldn't forgive his mother for remarrying their father, he still loved her, especially her natural burnt red hair and the singing voice she was known for (Their mother was a high end club singer). And because he shared the same jet black hair as his brothers and father, he dyed it the same as their mothers. He then applied to the musical boarding school Etude, to get away from his family for singing.
