I love Moomins, especially the japanese animation series Tanoshii Moomin ikka. It has a enormous nostalgic value, it's funny and touching, it's beautifully drawn and the soundtrack made by Sumio Shiratori is just so great and awesome that I have no words for it.This is Snork, one of my favourite characters, and he has GREATLY affected to Rack
(His dream is to build a airship which he's doing during the whole series) I'm really a die-hard fan of the series, I'm collecting all the episodes on VHS (6 more to go) and I have all the episodes on my PC and I wake up every morning 7:45 to see it
I'm planning to buy episodes on DVD too. I just love it x3By the way, Boken nikki sucks ass and pretty much rapes the whole series.

By the way, don't bother to tell the Americans to see this show. Moomins never made it to the States, so they can't get it anywhere at all. ('Cept if they move to the UK or Hawaii >_>) Also, it's "bouken", with a "u" in it.

About the pronounciating, since it's japanese it isn't 100% accurate how it should be written. I should've used japanese letters

Dude, I've tried looking for the British dub, and it's almost IMPOSSIBLE to find. I could find a few episodes, but it was just a few! Also, they stopped dubbing the show halfway trough!!

Also, there is accurate way of writing Japanese in romanji (with a few words which have two or more ways of writing >_>, but I'm not here to teach about that). It is spelled "bouken" in romanji. Or "bōken", and even then the line above the "o" means that it's writen "ou" in hiraganas.

Olisi pitänyt kirjoittaa suomeksi, mutta katsoin profiiliasi vasta jälkikäteen ^^' Sitten olisi ehkä menneet sanat oikein.
Minun näppäimistöstäni ei tuota ou -oota löydy, enkä todellakaan koe asiaa niin tärkeäksi että olisin etsinyt moisen jostakin.
Lisäksi kuvittelin että noille muumeille löytyisi ainakin enkkusubit, mutta ilmeisesti olinkin väärässä.

No joo, there are some Moomin clips wih English subs, but that's because I used to translate 'em and put them on YouTube. Until I quit ID (Ku pinna palo YouTuben kans XD)

IKR I got nearly three accounts taken down only because I spread some Moomin love! And it sucks even more since there were a lot of Brits who got happy when they got to see Comet in Moominland with subs (mitä ei tosiaan koskaa saantu UK:hon D: )!
