Description Bata is an extremely obscure god, who generally gets confused with the cow goddess Bat. He's not. He's Anubis' brother, and is sometimes considered the son of Seth, same as his brother.

Yay! More Egyptian god-fun!!! I've never heard of Bata before. He's cute though!!! Although, as I said before (and don't hate me for this, please!!!!) I don't agree with this thing about Anubis's parentage...but that's just me. Each to their own. (I've even heard claims that he was Bastet's son? wtf? A cat giving birth to a dog??? )

(Though I must say that the Anubis parentage thing doesn't rile me up as much as the Horus parentage confusion I'll say no more on the matter...)

Bata is darling! And very, very obscure... Oh, I don't hate you for preferring the Osiris-Nephtys version. We all have our different tastes. And Bastet is too damn bland to have someone like Anubis. Fo sho.
