I am doing the reaper makeup for the Illusive Man for an upcoming convention and have been doing test runs with different techniques. This was test run #2 on the model using pros-aide and tissue paper for the torn flesh. The colouring was done with Ben Nye cream makeup. I'm not very happy with how this test run went, I think the colouration on the skin is off. Next test run will be trying out the Ben Nye Flesh Effects Gel.Related content

That looks brilliant! I'm sure you see faults in it, like the skin colour, but from the photo is looks like bruising of the skin, which i'm sure would be the case if it was like this!

Thank you! Yes, in theory if this was normal skin there would be a lot of bruising. But when you look at the illusive man's flesh, he doesn't have that much trauma. Which seems odd, but that is how they did it in the game which I want to try and match as best as I can.

Thanks! I'm still working on getting it to look just right. I still have one more product to test out for this to see if I can get the look I'm going for. I have 3 week of practising before the first photo shoot, so I can get much better and faster.
