But I'll tell you now ... it's REALLY hard to find a good jacket (because pointy tails are damn near extinct ... I had to attach mine myself) .. but when you've done it post pictures so we can see!

because I can go to any shop and buy the costume and I actually don't need to buy the original on ebay for 200 bucks. but yeah cosplay has no connection with a gender LOL
but seriously I'm cosplaying for fun and for ...um... joy? XD so I really don't care about original outfit was it or not. if the image is good - whatever XD
btw only japanese people who are living in Japan can do awesome cosplays. ^^ that's just my POV. I don't implying something or something... lol

pft .. my cosplay is pretty much compiled from stuff I found in op-shops and discount stores - and who doesn't cosplay for fun? ... even if they do it for other stuff they'de still enjoy it ^_^
.... and I don't really agree with that statement either (^_^' sorry) what's the difference with where you live or what racial background your from .. not to mention, quite a few mangas/animes are set in other parts of the world China or England etc .. so sometimes a westerner can pull off cosplays better than asians ... it just depends on who you're cosplaying ... but that's just my opinion

I mean that japanese people most of the time (or asian people) has better appearance for cosplay-face and about location - all of the manga/anime/cosplay stuff mad in JAPAN. So if you are in Japan it's more easily to buy/get that stuff.... That's what I mean. And anyway I just love japanese people. And yep sometimes european-looking people best for some characters but...

I'm russian and half japanese and I live in US. so? XD and anyway I love all of the people and if you like what you do - who cares about other's (especially negative) opinions, right? ^^

^.^ a lot of my best friends are at least part Japanese so I love them too ... an interesting combination you have there ... not that I can really talk.
I'm half Chinese-Malaysian and half Australian and though I live in Australia, my parents met in Korea (my dad having gone there from Mexico) ...... it's strange how things like that happen sometimes huh?
