I had actually started a test version made with sonobe modules before I decided that I needed something more stable. Conveniently enough, I had just made my first menger sponge with the business card modules, so I decided to try those.
I think two blue pieces may be touching in the back, on the corner opposite the one shown in the picture. I'd go dig it out of my bookshelf of origami, but that requires moving my TV and trying to avoid an avalanche of origami.
If I were to make this again, I'd definitely go with seven colors as opposed to three. But hey, that's just me.

Heh! I once painted a rubik's cube to work a bit like this. It's evil since you have to first work out how it looks when it's solved - and then work your cube-solving magics on it!
