I have one doujinshi where he have blue eyes and I LOVE them so I decided to do one blue eye and one normal black eye and I like them both

I'm scared to use too drawk colors with pencils because I'm scared to ruin my art that way And my scanner takes the color first very dark but it makes the colors lighter when I need to put more lighter in the whole art so that some light mistakes disappear

Ohhhh I see what you mean. You could always try a cross-hatching technique where you color like at one diagonal, then color the opposite until it gradually fills in the color. Still looks nice though, I like soft effects too on drawings

Its where you take the pencil and color at one angle (say diagonally) to lay down the color. Then color it at another angle to make it a bit darker and cross over the 1st part. I learned it in one of my classes when we were working with charcoal
