Ash and Misty/Satoshi and Kasumi are one of my original OTPs from growing up. Β Granted, not as much as Jesse and James (and Meowth being a loud-mouthed third wheel), but Misty fueled the fire for my interest in Water Pokemon, which has grown to a full on passion whenever hardcore fans engage me in conversations about the 20 year history of this iconic franchise.
