Initially I wanted to post another drawing, but I chose this one for reasons you'll know another time. >u>;;Little story: This pic is a result of a mix between a TV report I saw about a transgenre mtf kid, and a reread of my CLAMP mangas, especially Card Captor Sakura. AND I JUST WANTED TO DRAW MAGICAL GIRL OUTFIT OK
X -doesn't have a name yet- is a little girl trapped in the body of a little boy. This attracts tensions at school, and at home. As the kid grow, hidding his real self to the non tolerant eyes is the best solution for bare survival.Β
Until one day when X is chosen to be a magical girl. A mission is given to the child, who will have to fulfill it. And gladly, as X likes to be in full transformation mode, being able to show his feminity, have long hair, and wear a dress. What a change from the usual everyday's life!
But. This escape from the harsh reality is smoke and mirrors. X gradually forgets about the mission as a magical girl. Glitter is illusion. Will the lost kid manage not to loose herself?
That's what I came up with roughly. :>

I really like this idea and the drawing as a whole, I just have one suggestion/ request/ thing. If you do end making a manga/ comic/ something else out of this, I ask that you use feminine pronouns (she/ her/ hers) for this character. In the description you used a mix of both ("his real self," "his femininity," "lose herself") and I know, from personal experience with trans* people and my own struggles with gender, that transgender people would use the pronouns they identify with. If XY is an mtf trans* person, then they would in no way want to refer to themselves with male pronouns (he/him/his). Because of this, feminine pronouns would be used by her and those close to/ supportive of her (unless people know she's trans* and are taunting/ bullying her or people just plain don't know). /rant over.
I'm sorry if this came off as rude or haughty or anything, this is just a topic that's really important and close to me. I'm also sorry if other people have also commented on the same thing before me, or if the pronoun usage in the description was just an oversight or a mix-up.

Oh my god don't be afraid of appearing rude, you're totally right.
Because while drawing it and writing the comment, the pronouns problems came to me and I admit I was a little lost so I did a mix of the two. I myself don't happen to have trans people in my surrounding though I tried to be the least offensive possible be assured of that. 
Now I know, this kid is a she. (not having a name for her didn't help neither XD )
I know I must appear as a nood on this subject, but you always start learning from somewhere right?

Very pretty picture.
You know I myself came up with a story featuring a similar concept,(guy transforming into magical girls) but I never finished it though maybe I'll go back over it and give it another try.
Anyway, nice art.
PS: The character looks good in that dress By the way in your story ,does he also do magical girl poses & whatnot like other magical girls in manga & anime?

Glad I'm not the only one then, actually I'd like to see such a concept in an anime or such. You should totally continue it.
I started from CSS as an inspiration so at first no, then I changed because I'd need an explaination for his longer hair.As for magical girl poses,since he would be part of the classical 5 girls band, a choreography is a must.

Did I tell you how much I love this already? Yeah, I did, but again... it's wonderful and heartbreaking at the same time... especially when you know this kind of situations (minus the magical girl thingy xD) can happen in real life. Wonderful concept!
