Description "*sigh* ... I wish I had a fancy mothership too ..." mutters Wolf as he takes a drag in a rental hangar.

Or something like that.

No I am not quite dead yet.

There is a rumor...
Wolf and James were once wing-men to each other in the war... and close friends... but there paths split different ways because of Fox's mother.
Now... Wolf says this to Fox in Assault, "Don't go down that easy Fox. If anyone is going to take you down, I'm the one who will do it..." Though this meant to be a show a rivalry between the two teams, in reality... because Wolf knew James... he is actually watching over Fox for James. This also explains why Piggma was to be "shot on sight, if he ever came" to the Star Wolf base, because it was Piggma who shot James down and when Wolf learned of this removed him from the Team.

Whats your thoughts on this?Β

I like your story, and O believe that James did inspire Wolf to do something with Fox and stay strong. However, I like to expand upon it. I like to believe that Wolf's parents were murdered in front of his eyes, and afterwards he was forced to become a child soldier of the Venomian Army (check out Layeyes's fan comic). After a violent rebellion saves by the original Star Fox (Wolf lost his eye), James decided to bring Wolf back to Corneria with Fox since the child soldiers were enforced to be raised by an adult. James was "killed" a few months later. Even though Fox became raised by the Toads, and Wolf's adoptive parents were abusive, Wolf and Fox developed an incredibly strong bond. They tried to keep each other out of trouble, Wolf taught Fox how to fight and defend himself, and Fox taught Wolf how to fly. Eventually, Fox betrayed Wolf and let pirates kidnap him because he could not stand seeing Wolf smoke, drink, fist-fight, cheat etc. Thus, their brotherly love ended...even though they still respect each other a little bit.

Thanks, but it's just a theory. Can't say it's right, can't say it's wrong. Who knows but the creators.

Here is Wolf looking sentimental about something or contemplating his life. I want to see a more personal side to him in future games.

JadeStep96 In reply to KuronosuSai [2015-06-04 01:40:33 +0000 UTC]

I've wanted that for over a decade, it's weird with literally EVERY game franchise I play I favor the opposite side,

examples: Assassin's Creed - I'm a devote Templar who severes the order and vows to end the assassin's

Mass Effect: I...want to help the geck + reepers...DON'T JUDGE ME!

And ofcorse, StarFox: I side and pity the rebel squadron of StarWolf, why? Because no one should never be called a "villein" unless proven so. (Plus, Panther Caroso...he's so awesome.....and hot)

Ever since day one I had this theory, what if the squadron of StarWolf was NOT a group of criminals like all have said?(because their aren't) What if they had reasons behind their actions?

I'm actually writing a story based around such thought, I plan to maybe post it in a veiw years.

In terms of the game's yes. But in the sense of ideology, the Templar Order had many valid points backed up by set goals for a better future. Sure, some of its members were cruel but in times of war and conflict in general one must have a steady head and a firm hand. The Culinary Brotherhood in the 17 hundreds of the Creed caused more issues than the Templars themselves. Not to mention that the series is biased because the Templar order never really has their side of the story told we're only seeing for what the Assassin's veiw. But the start of Assassin's Creed 3 and 4 begin a break in the series and started to explore the Templar order a bit but it was the most explored with Assassin's Creed Rogue. (My favorite game in the series)

I stopped playing the series after that game but I will say I was a huge fan during that time. But to me when it comes to storytelling there is nothing more annoying than a forced narrative.

But, that's just me though.

Awesome composition. The lighting and execution of color are spot-on, and your interpretation of an Lylatian city is awesome. I also find Wolf's current train of thought in this scene to be a nice way for us to see some of the things he thinks about whenever he's not trying to blast Star Fox or hunting for the next bounty. Spectacular job!

AALSO, if you count StarFox Assault, Wolf did get a whole space hideout X3 It's no mothership, but it still his own hangout

WHAT THE F -

HOW THE HELL DID YOU DO ALL THAT?!?!

I mean, the perspective is bang on, the shading is perfect, there's a million different things going on in the background and there's even slight symbolism in this picture...

And let's not mention the colouring... if you used a digital program to colour it in... just wow. And don't tell me you actually coloured it in.

Okay, I'm starting to see what you did here. You even used freakin' perspective for the sun's rays and the shading and that.

Now THAT is dedication...

This is excellent! The work has that rich feeling that just draws you in. Heck, I'm not sure why I'm including this, but the drawing makes me think of Cowboy Bebop at some point.

I was working on something similar to this (though I sure as hell know it's no way near as sharp looking than this) just a scenery change and character.
