Koumei's djinequip transformation o3oI loved drawing him~ Though it was really difficult to draw his djinequip. I couldn't find a proper picture OTL.

It's a shame the official colours(LOL half the 'official' sources such as the 3ds game has his djinn equip hair dark/black, the anime has it normal coloured ughh) came out a week or two after you finished this. I forced myself to wait a month before starting on his cosplay xP

I know I based this drawing on the official drawing of Ohtaka herself :"D (I was silently hoping they would change the colors in the anime like they did with Hakuei but I was disappointed OTL)
and Lol that cape was annoying to draw xD I can't imaging how annoying it would be to make. WAIT *gasps* I found this tutorial on making galaxy paterns on objects a few weeks ago! *searches* found it!

Yeah, Koumei managed to put on more clothes however he managed that Idk xD and yeaaah I was kind of hoping for the colors in the currently unreleased...ver. I wished the fabric parts were white and not great though 
That link was super helpful! I actually attempted last night but my paints didn't show up even though I sealed the fabric /sobs I'll try their soft fabric tutorial with the bleach and let you know how it goes orz I want to avoid using brushes/sponges if I can, I currently have my airbrush set up with the fabric hung up lol

God it was a lot of work making that staff XD I made it out of styrofoam and cardboard. xD My room was a huge mess xD
And the garden we were is the Japanese garden in Den Haag in the Netherlands xD It's really small actually xD It was also freaking cold that day. Since the garden is only open for public in Ocotober.....we were freezing >.< especially the girl who went as Aladdin! I was wearing two thights but she was just really barefood and stuff! D: and she was sick too. So we were like. Photo, jacket on, Photo, Jacket on, Photo, etc xD

I use my younger sister's(Kougyoku haha) room to cut styrofoam x) I just stuck everything in the trash asap and kept a roll of sticky packing tape to clean up the smaller bits. I was really freaked out about working with styrofoam till I figured that out xD
That sucks, I did my last actual shoot in the snow wearing layers and all... I don't think I'd be able to step out as Aladdin when it's chilly(not sure how well I'd pull off a midget shota though haha). At least the photos turned out nice, so it was worth it? XDl

Lol I kinda freaked out when I started spraying it gold and figured out styrofoom disappears (!) when you spray it with paint! D: (it was my first time working with styrofoam) So I kind of covered the whole thing in tape and sprayed over it xD Lol last minute solutions! xD (there was a con the next day)
Yeah they turned out pretty nice c: Though I kinda lost a lot of pictures xD (I can't find the link anymore the photographer send me..... derp)

Lololol yes some spraypaints eat styrofoam xD I hope it didn't traumatize you too much! It took me three years before I touched styrofoam again haha.

and no it didn't traumatize me xD But I don't have any future props in mind at the moment that can be made with styrofoam so I don't think I'll touch it anytime soon xD

and yes that's true. I've got a selfmade lucy cosplay (fairy tail) in my closet but I don't have a wig. (I used my own hair....OTL) I don't want to throw it out but I don't know if I'll ever wear it again xD (except for the skirt....I still wear the skirt now and then as normal clothing)

I love when cosplay can be used as normal clothes xDD I've done Loki and Yukino(before official colours were out.. And this is why I waited for Koumei's djinn equip official colours 
Oh oh oh I finished my djinn-equip Koumei and wore it to Sakura-con in Seattle for Sat and Sunday! On saturday the horns were too high and I didn't draw the circles on my hands though /cryyy

Lol xD I wore my attack on titan jacket as a normal jacket to my Berlin trip. Some of my classmates recognized it, some wanted it too, even though they had no idea it actually is cosplay xD

Yeah the last con I went to I had a meeting with a few other attack on titan cosplayers and we had discussed over facebook that we would do a photoshoot etc. So we met up and we were with about 20 people and then some more attack on titan cosplayers who hadn't heard about the photoshoot came to ask what was going on and joined in so in the end we had about 40 attack on titan cosplayers xD
Next to me there were 2 other Armin cosplayers.

My sister used a gaia online baseball cap that she won from a small cosplay contest for he hat. She cut off the visor, wrapped it in the white fabric, then made a semi-circle ish strip with foam and covered that in the green. Then she just glued it together and put the symbol on the hat... the gem is a custom cast we did, though :< Anyways, if you have any specific questions, I could ask her, those comments are just from my observation xD

I was planning on making the base with cardboard. I can get as much as I want anyway :"D (my mom is a display designer. Those cardboard thingies you see on counters etc) and I've done that before in middle school? (school system is different here....I was 14 back then when I made that hat) ( middle school and high school are kinda one and the same thing. After elementary school you'll go to a "middelbare school" and then it kinda depends on what level you do. KB and BB are the lowest and are 4 years long (12 till 16) then you have MAVO (also 12 till 16) (I did this) then you have HAVO (12 till 17)(tried to do this after MAVO but didn't make it to my next year ;A
......random school system explanation......sorry xD
Anyway I'll be sure to ask when I get stuck with the hat xD
