Just a sketch I made thinking about the ep 148... No time for a good coloring but it was not my point.

Well, as for me, no problem with being bitten by Ashido 
Wow! Several hundred year without seeing anybody, poor Ashido! it should be soooo long!!
I watched ep 149, and.... WHAT THE HELL...!!!
!! Not Ashido!!! Not again!!! (refered to Kamina!!) shit!!
It was a so long time we hadn t such a charismatic character in Bleach anime....! okay okay, he s not dead, but... grrr 
ps: this time I drew him according to the anime design, no poneytail anymore (sorry Mr Kubo
)ps2: the title is because I was listening "Paralyser" by Finger Eleven [link] (I love this song)
EDIT: Okay, okay, I edit this comment for stopping any comment about the problem of spelling L(R)ukia's name. In Japanese you can write らりるれろ with a R or L, it doesn't matter!! I prefere L, just respect people choice!

yes it's published in a volume of Bleach (I don't remember which one). Kubo originally drew him with a poneytail, but it was "cut" in the anime version ^^

I think you did a great job, my only critique is that the hand on Rukia looks a little strange, the pinky mainly, it almost looks broken, lol. Not that I'm bashing you, you're better at drawing hands then I'll ever be! ^^

Yes yes, people have already commented on the name thing. However, 'Rukia' is a Japanese name, so there was no mistranslation at all. Japanese names don't have any syllables for the L sound nor does the language itself. I've been up and all over Bleach and I've never known the name 'Rukia' to be a mistranslation, simply because of the whole 'L and R' thing. I mean, if that were the case, it would have been cleared up by Kubo himself. They may not be able to pronounce L sounds, but they can still write it.

Ashido is awesome, I wish he was in more episodes. I hope he comes back and Rukia futfills her promise. I have to say, I'm pretty pathetic, I'm obsessed with Ashido, I won't shut up about Bleach, and my friends know everything about the anime now. They hate Wednesdays, because all I ever talk about is how annoying the "to be continued" sections are. I live in hope of Ashido's return. *laugh* And of course, I dream of Ashido... sleep thinking about Ashido... think about Ashido 24/7, my friends threaten to punch me if I ever talk about ashido again... well you get the point...
