In fact, yes it does. But as I wear contacts the eyes don't hurt as much as without contacts, I think^^. Nevertheless for a good shot, the eyes have to be open

Nice work in a very tough setting. Love the reflection on the surface and the way your hair is twined around your right arm. I think what makes this image so effective is that your eyes are open and your expression is fairly relaxed despite being underwater. Often in underwater shots, people have their eyes squeezed tightly shut and their cheeks puffed up like they're going to explode! Good job!
