Description Pino, the Little Robot Girl

"The" Little robot girl
Infected with self awareness
The cogito virus
Cogito Ergo Sum
"I think therefore I am"
"I have thought therefore I exist"
A virus

Little robot girl
Who was taught sadness and pain
Her heart cried out with dry tears of distain
And she could not understand why
Why her having thought was so bad
Why her questions were driving everyone mad
Why was she considered broken inside
Why were her thoughts a malfunction she must hide
Why was her brilliant smile so wrong
Why she was only a little girl, yet didn't belong
Why she was damaged
Why was she… infected?
What was her raison d'etre; her reason for being?

So this little robot girl was sent off for repair
The repairman opened up and striped her hardware bare
He fixed and tinkered and cleaned and tweaked "But,"
He replied to the robot with eyes wide shut
"There is nothing wrong with you, though tell you what,
Come with me on a search for God, and he'll give us the answers we seek
Because I am in search of some myself, though my future looks very bleak

Little Robot Girl,
Infected with the truth
The Cogito Virus
Cogito Ergo Sum
"I think, therefore I am"
"I have thought, therefore I exist"
A Virus

And then one day on their journey she asked him,
What was his Raison d'etra?
His reason for being?
"Well," he replied, "To show people that seeing isn't always believing
For example, people see you as just a robot,
But I, I see you as so much more,
With many thoughts and feelings that you shouldn't ignore.
You, a kind young girl full of life and joy
Are not just someone's malfunctioning toy
You with your brilliant smile
That is much more natural then any human can smile
And if you ask me, your more human, them most humans I know.
And for that your Raison d'etra is entirely your own.
And for me, I am much more then meets the eye
But that is a secret I will carry with me till the day I die

And at the end of the world they found God's empty chair
And robots all around,
On their knees, heads raised in prayer
They were all frozen like that, frozen in time and space
And then the man began to take off his face
And there revealed in its place, was in fact the face;
Of God himself

The little Robot Girl
Cured by the truth
What was once the Cogito Virus
Cogito Ergo Sum
"I think therefore I am"
"I have thought therefore I exist"
The truth
