Due to work commitments this year (as well as the inability to get any leave over this Chinese New Year) I haven't been able to partake in any Lion Dance performances yet, let alone grab any photos.However, Chinese New Year is an important time for myself as well as other people and I always want to share a photo at this special time.
Unfortunately, because I haven't been able to snap up any Lion Dance in action yet, I got this cute lil' fella yesterday for my flat and took a photo of him this morning for my New Year's photo.
Hopefully I'll be able to add some real Lion Dance action to my gallery soon!
In the meantime, I wish everyone a joyful and prosperous year of the Tiger! Stay happy!

That is super neet. I did lion dancing for just one day, learning how to be the head & butt. It's exhausting! Also learned a bit of the drum beats. That stuff is so fun, and SO admirable when the pro's do tricks.
