haha it's paper~! long strips of paper crafted into stars. it's really easy to make.. gets addicting wen ur bored.

er you can actually just make these out of many long strips of art paper. that's wat my friend did in his boredom. you can buy these in stationary or accessory stores, the same ones that sell cross-stitch, frames, yarns & threads.
