Nnnannng... I spent so incredibly long on this! Like, 14 Layers -in Paint Shop Pro- (bad on the ram) and so much time I can not remember... definately not a quicky... and not gloriously brilliant result-wise.
Too much detail I guess... You can just see the background I spent ages on -behind- Goku *grumbles*
Anyway, the inspiration to this isn't to deal Vegeta muchos pain for what he does in the redubs--- because I'm in france and I can't watch the redubs... it was a curiousity glitch I got from reading my DBZ mangas.
The glitch was 'What Ifs'
What if Goku didn't arrive in time to save Gohan?
There was a parody in Budokai 1 where Vegeta went super-saiyan in this saga so theoreticly I can draw this too, right?
What if Vegeta was only 6 weeks late?
Six weeks after the battle Goku has properly unlocked his SSJ portential in the show... There's wacky AU plots that could go with this
So yeah... thus the title. *shrug*
I learnt to draw Vegeta's saiyan saga costume (too big for him teehee!) and Goku's early costume (Kanji included!)

Hahaha, thats kinda funny, because When I played as Goku for the second time in Budokai 3's Dragon Universe, I could go SSJ anytime.

Well it's quite simple. If he was 6 weeks late he wouldn't have been killed on Namek by Freeza, therefore his butt naked ghost couldn't have told him to fight freeza and kick ass and stuff. So Goku wouldn't have had the moral support to become a super sayain. OR MAYBE I am just babling on.

Heh, nice. I'm always a big fan of alternate reality stories, being a writer of an AU DBZ series (The 18th). And with the new DBZ game, Budokai Tenkaichi, rumored to have alternate twists in the Sagas (like Meta-Frieza instead of Meta-Cooler... o_o!), this is certainly welcome. Nice work. ^_^ d
