Ok, so they're not really 'doodles'

Nordend and Rakurai.
St. Bernard/ Bernese Mountain Dog/Irish Wolfhound mix and Akita Inu

These two are as close as brothers; Rakurai even calls Nordend 'Aniki' despite actually being older XD I think it's because Nordend's so much bigger than Rakurai.

They both kick ass on their own, but together they're a killer combo, literally.

Rakurai, being a Tora-ge, is more likely to withstand being hit with a particularly devastating attack *coughlikethebattougacough* while Nordend is not. As such, Rakurai is more than willing to take a blow for his 'big brother'.

*sigh* I'm so proud of these two characters. Makes me wish they weren't bad guys

I don't remember what music I was listening to while I drew Nordend, but when I started on Rakurai my playlist happened to be on the MTNN opening 'Dirty' by Nightmare; I then put together a short playlist of Rakurai's 'character songs' or rather -- songs that clearly reflect his attitude and helped me capture that as I drew. The songs are Dirty by Nightmare, BrEaK by Suwabe Junichi, and ZAN by Masakazu Morita
