Well, that's our beloved Kyoko in all her glorious sexiness, and in "The Pose" aka my (and a whole lot of foot fetishists') favourite pose; and it's well done and extremely sexy. So it's definitely a winner and I just *love* this illustration. Hell, if you ask *me*, there would be a whole "Kyoko in The Pose" section.
With all that being said, I'm not sure it makes a good cover for the manga specifically, because your style is much closer to that of "Letters to Kyoko" here and also the manga doesn't get quite that sexy-oriented until at least page 14 (additionally, Kyoko doesn't get to look like this until page 17). It really depends on where the manga is going from here on out, but if it stays in a direction similar to the first dozen pages, a cover like this might lead some readers to a bit of a disappointment.

Actually I was thinking of you when doing THE pose and I used one of your pics as foot-ref; had to alter it a bit, of course, to match it with Kyoko´s "usual" feet. Also you might like the pic that I will post today a little later on... (hint hint...) - I will start colour in a minute.
The Manga - don´t worry, no disappointment. Kyoko and the energy-being marooned on the S3 planetoid will lead to the food-question, so the mushrooms are about to come (haha). And on the contrairy to the concept-artwork, her bodyhair (boobs and lap) will have been singed; so no need to shave; she will be naked with no clothing available, which leads to more issues with the energy-beeing who might be made of light but was originally a male human being in his late twenties / early thirties - and still has the feelings and urges of a male human being of that age...
I am not sure, if I will have tail-fun involved yet. Definitely more background on the energy-being, because I will blow the story up and make it intellectually deeper (I am working on this story for about four years now and I can turn it into an epic, if I want. This will depend on the success of the promo I will start in summer). That way I will get away with the pure and blunt porn-bits 
But I might publish the hardcore only online, leaving the print-version basically clean (still nudity, but no hardcore). We will see...

Thank you. I thought about doing a picture of Kyoko laying on a lawn in the sun watching a butterfly - but I screwed up the pupils - so I changed it and turned it into the cover that I still need for the Manga.
