why do you look so sad, so blue?

Hey guys! Sorry I've been inactive lately, teachers looooove dumping homework on students right before spring break. But now it's my break so I have more time to draw, yay!
I think this is one of my better drawings, I'm actually pretty happy with the result of this one. This drawing is kind of a different style from what I usually draw. For one thing, instead of inking my drawing, I outlined with pencil instead to achieve a softer, more painterly look. Also, this isn't as colorful as my usual drawings as I only used blue colors. For some reason, I've been wanting to do blue skin for a while, it's so fun and it makes her look icier and colder. The scanner didn't murder the colors too much, although the roses and hair should be a deeper blue and the background should be lighter. But oh wells~
Obviously, this drawing was centered around blue roses. I love blue roses so much, they're so pretty! I think I've finally gotten the hang of drawing roses fast, yay. ufufufu I got lazy with the other arm, it's hiding behind her hair/dress >.< I'm gonna make some other color/flower themed pictures like this one. Like, I'm working on a red poppy drawing, I want to also make one for yellow daffodils, purple lavender, green leaves, and maybe pink sakura.
I have some other pictures I'll upload soon~ any comments, favs, and watches are all greatly appreciated. I hope you like this picture
