Description I've been beading for about a year now, and this is just something I did for a cousin, a Christmas present.

I'm not entirely thrilled with this one, but it's not as bad as some of the beading jobs I've done.

Let me know what you think.

oooh. I like all of them!! I'd pay you to do beading jobs for me if I had the money, mostly because all my jewelry's broken or I'm allergic to the metal ^_^;;;

I need money too.

Badly.

CJ's almost out of diapers, and because the state can't help me anymore than they already are, my doctor had to authorize me to start him out on baby food. He's only going on four months. But with the way he eats, we didn't have a choice.

I can make you something but you won't get it until around Easter. More than likely, unless you want me to mail it to you.

Colors?

blue and white preferably, because those were my grandpa's colors.

I wish I could help you, but I can't even help myself right now. I'm working on getting out of state so I can get a job. That and I'm counting on the possibility of my biological bastard actually starting to pay child support. Since they have him in jail now he doesn't have much of a choice.

It's hard times, especially for people like us... hopefully something will turn around for you soon!!!

Well see CJ's dad was supposed to go into the Air Force Jan. 4th and now supposedly that's been pushed back.

And I have a call in to the prosecuting attorney's office, who's handling the case on child support regarding info I received and waiting for a call back. Won't hear from her until Monday cause their office is closed until then though. Which sucks!

Yeah, that does suck. Why do the worst things seem to happen around the holidays? My step-dad's off for almost two weeks because EMP is shutting down for the holidays, meaning not only is he going to be home (blegh) but he's going to not be getting a pay check except for three vacation days he managed to save.

Luckily mom's working and getting good hours, but that doesn't do much except for ensure we're making a house payment and paying bills... we barely have enough for food and gas even with both of them getting paid for normal hours.

And then there's me, without a job and trying to get everything ready so I can go to college... luckily, with me going for education there's a LOT of grants and scholarships out there, just because Michigan's sort of desperate for teachers (seen by like the FOUR or FIVE teachers retiring this year).

Yea. I don't get to go to school for a few more years probably.

Though I might take a class anyways.

I can get a grant because I HAVE CJ.

I mean I had money because of my grades and stuff while I was in school, but the problem with that is that I was told because of my age when I graduated...I wouldn't be able to access the money to use it to go to college. So it screwed me over when I went to access it when I found out I had it still...Turns out I could have used it but it's gone now!

stupid stupid people~!

Yeah, I got screwed over for college because of PAPERWORK THAT THEY MISINFORMED ME ABOUT... and I could have used the grant I got because of the whole ACT/MME thing they make us do now, but now because I had to wait, I no longer have that because they canceled the program. The good thing is NMU is one of the colleges in Michigan that are trying to make up for it so we can get up to $2000 in loans interest-free, which is how much the grant was worth.

Sure it's not much, but I've learned interest is a bitch if you're the one trying to pay off the debt. So yeah... -sighs-

but the sooner I start college the better, and I can take about 1/2 of my classes at Bay, meaning my mom and I can do a payment program, which will help us. I guess one of the girls does it and her classes total to almost $7000, but the payments are affordable, and her family's in worse condition than mine... meaning my $2000 will be a sinch for me and mom to pay.

People are stupid. Why can't they all be smart like us?

No what's really stupid is when I was trying really hard to go to school, I applied to the local college here, and got accepted. Twice, two different years.

I couldn't go because of health problems.

Well now my health problems aren't really any better, but now I have a medic alert bracelet so it's a little easier, and all that. I've reapplied to this college three times...And they won't send me a denial or acceptance letter. Nothing.

It's just DUMB!

okay, that IS dumb. Did you try calling them to see what's up? That's the only good thing about Bay is that if you call they'll try to send you to the person who really knows the answer... ^_^; luckily I don't have to waste my time re-applying because I'm already accepted, they just changed it to Summer of 2010 semester!

I finally got the number, but I have to wait until sometime in January to call them. You know, schools closed and all that jazz.

But I'm going to call around the 10th or so and go "EXCUSE ME! What the heck--!"

I want answers because I loved school.

I know, I'm crazy.

Hey, I loved school too, despite the fact I slacked off in high school. Sort of regretted it after, but I learned my lesson. I did well enough on the ACTs and everything that really it was what made the difference for a lot of things. I love school enough that it's what I want to do for a living. Originally I was going to go to be a English teacher in high school, but I realized that I prefer working with kids better!! ^_^;;

Yeah, hopefully you'll get some answers and be able to go back to school. What would you go for if you could go back to school?
