Description Based off of a quote by Seth Andrews of The Thinking Atheist in response to the good ol' "You took it out of context" line:

"In what context does a 969 year old human being make sense to you? In what context does Baalam's [talking] donkey make sense to you? In what context does the plunging of swords into the beating hearts of babies make sense to you?"

I recall Bible mentioning human lifespan reducing into 120 years only, so they must've been biologically different from us. And what's the problem with talking donkey?

How many talking donkeys have you encountered?

None, but what does that has to do with anything? It's not like those exact, same miracles have to happen everyday in order to be true.

You asked what the problem was with a talking donkey. I figured maybe your casual mention of them meant you have seen talking donkeys frequently throughout your life.

How come miracles/actions of God like talking donkeys/bushes, women turning into pillars of salt, water into wine and stones into food don't happen today? If God were real, wouldn't some of those fancy things be happening today? I know I'd be pretty impressed, and likely change my opinion on the existence of God, if I were to personally witness a miracle of his along those lines.

Okay, I see what you mean.

In case you don't know anything about the Bible's messages, these miracles requires really strong Faith and it seems only few people has it. And even if those did happen, how can you be so sure it would be made it into public news or anything? What I've understood from the Bible is, that God has given us freedom of belief, so letting those miracles happen just anyhow would really go againts that principle, now wouldn't it?

In other words, those miracles might be happening, and I'm sure, they are still happening on this very day.

Do you know how old the bible is?

The bible was created by hebrews, a lot of years ago (In the ancient egypt years). There wasn't many logic at the Bible since the bible is very old. Same thing with the Greek Mythology.
