I guess you're already sick of joker fanart... I am for sure ^^So I promise there won't be much of it... one or two maybe... but not right after another. I will do some other stuff first ^^
This one was a gift for and I'm quite happy with it ^,^ I liked the movie and I liked this character... it sure was a challenge to draw him ^___^

No one can be sick of Joker fanart! I browse this site every day to see what's new in it.
And I love this drawing. His expression, and the fact that first you see the match, and then all the fire in the background. It's like an artful organization. Very good.

I still can't believe the luck I have right now... not only get I to spend time with you guys (which is balm for my soul most of the time) I even get to go to the movies and have deep conversations and can even share a hype with somebody I love...
And on top of that we both inspire each other to do the most awesome stuff art wise. Girl, I tell you, this card will be framed and hung in a place where I can see and adore it every day...
The amount of detail you put into this card does in no way need to hide of my detail-fanatism I am often "accused" of! The colours and the lights are just marvelous and the entire composition with him bending slightly over, holding up the match and enlightening his face a bit makes me shiver in the most positive way....

I have to resist the urge to write in german, because I fear I'm not good at replying this properly in english. But I'm gonna try ^^
It's awesome to spend time (drawing and otherwise with you) It really is a constant source of inspiration and I always have the feeling that I make skill steps when you're around. You help me surpasse the fear to try new stuff, ne techniques and you bring back my patience to work on bigger and more detailed stuff. The more often you're here the harder it is to let you go. (and I'm not saying this because of all ther art stuff... not only at least)
As to this card... I'm really really happy you liked it that much. Your reaction when I gave it to you made my heart jump (rumsΓΌlz aber is doch so XD). It's that special feeling making someone happy and you're one of the few persons I have a constant need to make happy ^^ I hope there will be lots and lots of more drawing and spending time together sessions... *luvs you* <3<3<3

Mahhh... I don't even know what to answer to that... ;_; Within this year you have become once more one of the most important people in my life and I don't want to miss this feeling anymore. We really ought to do more stuff together somehow, without each other's "real life duties and restrictions" comming in the way. I need to figure out something in that matter... If we both have so much positive positive influence at each other than we either need to find a way to bottle that stuff up and hoard it for bad times... or ... or... well, something else. XD I'm talking gibberish.
Real life muses are hart to find and once found you should never allow them to leave your life again as long as they keep on bringing you all the good things... *huggleclings*

Perhaps with different conventions I plan to visit next year we can at least meet each other more frequently.. even though it's only weekends. I've got the feeling we're really good for each other...mart wise and emotionially. I still have you one more day here at my place... but thinking of tomorrow makes me wanna cry ;_; We really have to think of something to spend more time together

Well, as long as it's good tears I don't think I mind much to make you cry at _any_ time of the day.
I certainly am looking forward already to MMC, even though what lies beyond my studies scares me a bit. I know I will at least manage to go there, maybe even EF and everything else... we will see. I try to be confident. *chuckles*

I do think you captured the sentiment of the scene (and the look of Ledger) quite nicely.
The character Joker is always an interesting one, he's psychotic, but does things (mainly his crimes) as everything is a joke. Maybe a psychotic joke, but still a joke.

It's kinda the same thing with the cartoons as well. Jack Nicholson did a good Joker as well ..... maybe Heath's joker in about 20 years.
