I've been wanting to try this style for a while. Painter's digital watercolor brush is really hard to use though. Took me so long. I never liked it...and still don't like it ^ ^"
Pose ref is from Adobe Stock Photos CS3. I'll admit that I eyeballed the horse really closely. I suck at drawing animals D:

Yeah, digital water colors (let alone normal watercolors ) on painter is a pain to use. Good work on the horse.

I normally use artist oils, digital watercolor, chalk and the blender tool.

I use tinting, acrylics, chalks, and blenders.

You can use oils and 'digital watercolors' on the same layer. Just not with the regular watercolors.
