I'm a girl and I always enjoy a good romance story, add some flying fists and ki-blasts and I'm hooked. So, after years I decided to return to the Gohan and Videl fandom. Then I found the SweetestIrony group, which gives me even more motivation to improve my drawing skills. I can tell the people are having a lot of fun creating this fan art and fan fiction, and I sure had a lot of fun creating this image.

I finished this on Wednesday 8 April, but now I feel kinda awkward entering this in the SweetestIrony April contest because in a way it's very similar to one of the other entries. Guess next time I shouldn't delay before posting Gohan's completely oblivious to how embarrassing his Saiyaman routine is, and he roped Videl into it, and she went along with it for two reasons as I see it. Firstly, I think Gohan convinced her to wear the suit by telling her it would be weird for people to see her flying (although I doubt in the end it made any difference), and secondly I think Videl will endure anything for Gohan, even the embarrassment of parading around in a technicolor suit and doing ridiculous poses.

It's kinda the same idea as ~megaminoeien 's entry [link] , the whole Videl would do anything for Gohan thing, I just did it in a slightly different way. I borrowed the pose from one of the post-Buu movies. I threw Hercule in there because I actually really like his character. I do sometimes get annoyed with the guy, but he's usually good for a laugh.

The part I had most trouble with was getting the angle right on Gohan's left hand, and... drawing the straight lines >.>

Now to go read some FAQ's so I know how to properly link things on dA...
