Weeeeell, even though the title indicates that i wanted to draw this because of some deeper meaning, but actually i just love these
little extra comics of One Piece :3 And in one of them (Monster time) nami is a mermaid. An absolutely lovely mermaid, i really love her design <3 Soooo i decided to draw her and after that i wanted to draw a ship, and then i decided it had to be the flying lamb and thats actually the story how this icture came to be ^^

The reason for this title has some symbolistic elements in it, because the flying lamb doesn't even appear in the mini comic because the strawhats are all monsters and not pirates. But if you look at it this way: The mermaid nami is watching or even waiting for the flying lamb to arrive and the mainstory to go on ^_^Pretty deep, huh? but I really didn't think about this while drawing this picture xD
