I was playing Brawl and felt like drawing Sheik. I'm really proud of myself, I came up with the pose all on my own and didn't reference it from anything.
That means there's probably plenty of mistakes, but whatever. I hope you guys like it anyways.Sheik © Nintendo

Well, I started it like four days ago, but I guess that is kinda quick for me...XD
Oookay, I'm gonna attempt to explain how I made the background using this method I came up with. Bear with me, as it might get kinda long. First I made a background layer and filled the whole thing in blue. Then I went onto the lineart layer, made a box selection around a random part of it, and then copied it. When you copy something it is temporarily added to your brushes. I used the paintbrush with black at 30% opacity I think, and painted with the piece of lineart brush all over the blue background. At this point the bg looked like there were a lot of darker blue scribbles all over it. Then I used the water drop to blend it all to get it to look how it does now. For the blending, I made a really big brush(to make the blending quicker and easier) by making a new layer of a solid color, then selecting and copying a big piece of it. I hope that made sense.
