Description
This was a rather quick and sketchy character concept i did for a friend of mine..I wanted to thank her.. I'm usually a very lonely guy, and she's someone i can talk to regularly and hang out with.. it really helps. ^^
But enough gushing, on to the character itself:
name: Rosemary!
She's a cuttlefish.
her skin and hair changes colors at will!Here i was trying for something colorful, like if she was in a mating mood or something hehe |P
(i used those photos for inspiration, and they're not mine of course.. i found them on internet somewhere)
I dunno why she's wearing that outfit, i guess it's just because we were talking about things like that when i was sketching her. XD
I might complete it and clean it up later, once she finalizes her design. ^^ (this is just a starting point basically)

I've never seen a Pffeffer's Flamboyant Cuttlefish girl before! I love the little fins on her hips, and the coloration. Plus, you get bonus points in my book for the authentic W-shaped pupils. Cuttlefish-people are under-rated.

This is an interesting concept. I like that you managed to somehow make something like a cuttlefish look as alluring and friendly as you have. I adore the way your style of drawing and coloring give everything such a soft, organic feeling to it. The color scheme you chose looks rather nice and the way you've incorporated the patterns is fitting for such a character. In short, nice job.

hehehe awwww calling her a sea-slug XDDD! she is pretty though yes! lol though with how she can change colors at will.. she can be REALLY creepy if she tries to be x_x like turning her skin a dead grey and with black circles around her eyes, with her back tentacles whipping the air around her like a medusa or something.. x_______x

hehe yeah i think it's very interesting too.. i'm a bit ashamed i didn't put too much work into her though.. she deserves more love.
once her player decides what her final design will be like i'll complete this pic into a full-body shot!
though so far she seems to like what i came up with soo.. i don't think her final design will differ too much from this hehe ^^

Firstly; cuttlefish - yes of course it had to be the deviousness of Pet influencing you - and boy did it spawn a cute picture x)
Let me just say that it's a very nice starting point - definitely going for an interesting direction; the spots of yellow blend in nicely with that very nice shade you managed; particularly the hair just pops!
It was also an interesting choice to see the refs along with the concept itself, I haven't seen many do that before - no one in fact ^^ delightful little details, cute dress, delightful forms and an endearing colour scheme - her ability to change colours is very exciting; from a illustrative point of view.

Indeed it wouldn't - and so far she is the cuddliest cuttle I can think of x3 I don't know many but if I notice more I doubt they'd be cuddlier...
