Wow, this is an awesome interpretation of an already pretty cool character. I think you totally caught the pre-Buffy Spike, back when he was still scary as hell!
The skull on the side really adds to the creepy, dangerous atmosphere...as does his crazed yell.
The art style you used here reminds me a bit of "Blade of the Immortal". Have you read it?
