Thomas the Tank Engine?

...What? Get it? Cause they're both...British? ...I think? .........?

Okay, I suck at telling jokes. Seriously though, nice looking character! He looks refined!

funny enough I was a huge Thomas the Tank Engine Β fan as a kid. that was the Ringo Starr/George Carlin era. Every so often I'll look up those old eps on youtube.

Always thought Ringo was one of the worst narrators the show had, though, because of his slow, tepid, boring, monotone. Carlin did a pretty great job but as a British person it always feels weird seeing our kids shows get dubbed for American audiences.

...Thomas (your character) is a cutie

wow you're probably the first person I've seen who didn't like Ringo. Though i will say, the one who owned it was Michael AngelisΒ

my favorite 3 in no particular order where Ringo, Angelis, and Carlin

Angelis was great, and he joined the show just as it was entering its post-Tugs phase, with much better camera work, better models, better music etc. The earlier Ringo seasons are fun to watch but there's a "cheapness" to them that makes them both charming and unintentionally funny (a lot of characters getting their faces mixed up is a recurring goof that makes me laugh).

I don't really hate Ringo's narration; I just don't think he breathed as much "life" into the stories as Carlin did.

Alec Baldwin was a middle of the road narrator
