An update/remake of nemesiszeru.deviantart.com/art… , which in itself was a contest entry for 's Isavoire contest!As one of the best sprites I've done, it seemed rather fitting for an update. It was just a perfect storm of everything just...coming together perfectly, and I still think it was one of my best sprites. This started as a straight lineart trace, but I decided to tweak the pose a bit, as well as a few of the colors ever so slightly(Mostly the flowers!
Edit: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaa figures. Arms bugged me the whole time, and it's only now, that it's uploaded, I realize the arms are disproportionatel long. Dangit
Edit 2: Tried to fix it.
Edit 3: Made the legs a bit longer to hopefully help proportions, moved the eyes in a bit(Probably a bit far apart), added some shading, and tweaked the grass a bit.

Valienne still looks great. I'm really glad you wanted to update her look.

Yeah! Valienne's design just clicked, hehe. Only real changes were colorwise(Head flower and hair color, former to differentiate from Chantelief's flower), and lengthening Chantelief a bit for the pose. Just for some reason, the whole concept flowed super well, so thanks to you for that~
What ever happened with that contest, anyways? I know winners were announced, but did anyone ever get their 'lil prizes?

There was a couple, but that got waylaid by the book's problems in publishing.
I can easily get her back into a story, however, if you don't mind~! I actually have a story he'd fit into perfectly.

Ah! Figured I'd ask, since I recalled one of the prizes was a picture, and I've been wanting to see other's takes on my own characters lately, be it through art trades, etc. x3
I mean, if you want, go for it! I had a little writeup on the original sprite's page, but I was never sure how accurate it was. But, since I made it for the contest, Valienne and Chantelief is ultimately your character, so do whatever you want with them~
