Thank you Keith. Fireworks are rather tricky, as I try every year to take them, and this was the only time that I was even remotely successfull in my attempts. Patience is the only thing that comes to mind when photographing these. ^^ Glad that you enjoyed it.

This is so so beautiful. I'm truly impressed with the capture, great colours and sense of movement. I like the off centre composition as well, because it actually adds to that sense of movement. It's so perfect it almost looks like a fractal rather than a photo!

hehe, it is pretty! The joy of 5 second exposures is that you can capture many a-firework and get all the colors that show up as well..most of those different hues I missed with my own eye while watching the show. hehe.

when i take pics at night the colour is so dull

Hm, bright colors are due to long exposure at a low aperature I do believe. ^^ With a faster shutter speed, less colors are captured..thus making a picture apear to be 'dull'
