I'm off to die now guys, this took the last of my energy so I'm afraid it's the end of Nemo
Obviously joke there, but do you want to know what isn't a joke? The time it took to draw this.
But at least it's done!
These characters belong to Hasbro. Obviously.
And for the record this is a friends picture, I don't ship fluttershy and Discord

I've always supported Fluttershy and Discord as being the best of fiends and so it always makes me happy when I see a picture that symbolizes that friendship rather that leaping to the temptation to ship the two together.
When I see this picture in my inbox and I open the file the first thing that my eyes are drawn to is that sun~ The colour fading from the yellow to the blue sky is so carefully arranged. I just love the colour, especially to the right.
And you're getting very good at drawing Discord's face shape. I know how hard that can be sometimes.
I also love that all the parts of Discord's body are the right way around. Not even Hasbro gets that right all the time.

Well, finally! Somebody who actually respects the character´s proportions. I mean, in the show a pony´s body is a as big as Discord´s face. It´s nice to see that. The design of characters is as well pretty good and loyal to the original source, yet remaining the artist´s personal touch. The background is pretty good as well; even though the characters are the center of attention you didn´t neglect the environment. The shading and lighting are quite good as well. Nice job

Where do I start... Fluttershy is absolutely adorable. That pose is adorable, with her wing just slightly tucked and folded; and her expression is beautiful. Such a gentle and welcoming expression, becoming of the element of kindness!
Discord himself also looks fantastic. That pose is great, and I absolutely love the little detail of Fluttershy's tailtip touching between his toes. That's just too much.
I think the background also steals the show. I just... the transition between night and day is just... it's so gorgeous. You see the sun shining bright, and then up above you see the mysterious, calming night sky filled with stars... Ah... Ah, it's beautiful.
Truly outstanding, my friend. The effort and time you put into your pieces shows through every single brush stroke on the picture. You should be proud of this piece, no less. First Ace's, and then this one. Outstanding. That's really all I can say.

I can bet that it did! I couldn't even imagine doing something of this magnitude. I don't have enough patience for art... Drawing just one pony drains my patience and then I can't wait to just show it off! But then drawing a background would totally keep me from doing that so everything is just GOOD ENOUGH POST THIS ON DA.
Man, you need to tell me how you did that background... I'm still so jealous of it.
