They are kinda different in my story. Since they don't have the technology anymore, they just hammer fragments of the Nails into the heads of World Eater Neophytes. The fragments "grow" with the power of the blood god, and worm their way into the brain of the Legionnaire. So they are not as visually notable, but the effect is pretty much the same.
