I made two Ichikas, one as a human, and other as a ghoul. I'd like to know what do you think about the water? it's my first time painting it and I think I can do it better. Also it's my first time coloring this way(if you want to see the ghoul version download it or go to my tumblr)

the highlights of your piece!
:. i really love how there's a easily pinpointed lightsource from above, lots of pieces lack that, and i honestly love how the light source from above, from where she's looking to can convey a message as well
:. the color choice is beautifully selected and really helps to contribute with a soft and soothing look.
:. i can't even express how much i just adore how you paint. the natural flowiness in her dress to her hair is just absolutely lovely!
some points that need improvement ~
:. although i do like the 3D blur effect you did on the eyes by themselves, i feel like it would go against the piece as a whole. it's just seems like the piece would be beuatifully mellow with the surronding background and such, but i feel like it would be hard just to look at considering the effect ruins that? it's also a little hard on the eyes as well.
> to fix this you simply have to make the shift between the two layers use to make the effect closer together so it dosen't have such a big impact. since I feel like you removing it entirely would take away from what you wnated to experiment with?
overall, your piece was just breath-taking and i'm looking forwards to viewing more of your artwork ~

Rally good, is it me or is there more than one layer to your drawing?
I can see the lips and eyes are blurred a little as if two images were placed over one another.
