scarlet is the red dragon being pinned, she was the queen of the sky wings until the dragonet of destiny came and glory broke her face, she found darkstalkers scroll and used it to make things to help her get her throne back
tourmaline: scarlets daughter, only daughter not killed, was turned into princess ruby with animus magic, until peril found out and saved her, she’s the dragon pinning scarlet

But scarlet was an amazing villain! She had one of the best villain arcs I’ve ever read! And unlike darkstalker her ultimate defeat was a satisfying victory! (I’ll try to avoid spoilers Incase you haven’t read that far yet, sorry) The way it ends was just spectacular, and the writing was amazing! Plus if u skip it, stuff won’t make sense, :0

Buuuuuhhhhhttt whhhhhyyyy?!!?!??!!? I thought it was an amazing scene, and the fact that it was a royal challenge just made it so much more serious, the only thing I didn’t like was that tourmaline decided to be ruby again :/

well a good way to get me to become uninterested in a series is if you kill a character i like. scarlet is my favorite and so this does not sit with me very well. as for tourmailine or whatever the hell it is....i hate her

Tourmaline isn’t a really interesting character I’ll give you that, but scarlet had such a good arc, I’m glad she didn’t get more time cause it would’ve ruined her character, people like scarlet as the villain, if Tui would’ve made her live, it would’ve had something to do with changing her character into a good character and not a villain, just like they couldn’t leave burn, blister, or morrowseer alive, they were all villains, and if they changed from that role they wouldn’t be the same characters we love, they would’ve changed, and been completely different and it would’ve been agitating, that’s why I love tui’s writing so much, she knows when to end a character arc, and at least scarlets ended with a bang, unlike darkstalker *cough*

It just bothers me that she dies. The other villains I'm fine with them being killed not to mention scarlet dies in a really stupid way

Bro it’s totally respectable, I’m not trying to diss ur opinion, sorry if I came across that way :/ I get it, scarlet is fricken awesome, and it sucks that she died but the alternative wouldve been her ruling the Sky kingdom, and probably killing most of the tribe for betrayal after killing. The drahonets so ya... but I get it mate sorry again

what i mean by her dying in a stupid way is this. She has to die cause of the plot? ok fine but she doesn't go out with something big like she doesn't take down 5 or 6 guys when she dies she just gets her neck snapped.......great :/
