requested me to draw a Kasumi.It turned out prettier than I had imagined, although I kept it simple.

*ahem* as for the Adv Critique, well done on the shading and proportions. you did very well on her garments and her expression. I suggest that you should also put a background next time to make it shine even more.

Ah-HAH! You caught on rather quickly, you did.
This is very promising start. Though chances are you didn't start with this. Ah well. I want to say something about the facial expression and pose combining to prduce some sort of subtle effect, but I refuse to believe I'm that much of an sheer artsy bastard.
As for the bad news - her visible hand looks small, and, while it could very well be just the hair, she has no ears. And that she's not at her typical extravagant proportions, but I'll merely congratulate you on that one....

Her expression gives something more to the picture instead of "Just another picture of Kasumi"
The form of the head is anatomically correct, but she might have a bit of a bad hair day. But I'm only mentioning this because everyone else has mentioned it in the comments o.O
Anyways, I think it's a GREAT picture, specially the coloring!

i lost my appetite in the overwhelming amount of (lost the word....) japanese-style pics, but this one made me
take another bite. Great use o colours and shades, design, but the head looks a bit odd to me. too flat...

Okay, before I get more comments about her head being flat - that's because of the slightly too subtle lighting on the left cheek (left for us, right for her). The head is actually not flat - take a look at the perspective I drew it from - but I think I set the opacity for the brush I was using a little low on that bit. The lack of shading/lighting in the cheek is causing this "flat look".

the work is in general almost perfect, only the head looks weird -just had to mention that.
but isn't her hairstyle also adding to that flat look? i'm not a genius in anatomic-perfect drawing, but
it would make a better pic wouldn't it?
