One doujin I had found about 5 or 6 years ago goes into detail about their hookup. It started out as a one night accident involving tequilla (guess Vegeta can't hold his liqour O_o go figure) and thereafter they keep having ackward moments, ultimately resulting in them getting together. Oh, and there was a great panel where the Nameckians were still squatting at the CC compound, and Piccilo was meditating near Bulma's window. The look on his face...oh the horror. I wish I had saved that doujin it was funny. Not as good as yours tho Nenee

By the way, I am also very curious about the beginnings! Okay, the anime shows some small scenes where Bulma starts to care for Vegeta, but these are missing from the manga... I know Toriyama-sensei didn't plan this pairing originally, but after all they work out well for each other! ^^
