Well John IS very loyal and protective.... He's like boarding on Gryffindor yet at the same time boarding on Ravenclaw when he suggested that they make it seem as though they broke up. Not even Sherlock thought of that!

He is. I think most people have traits that would fit all of the houses, but there's just one that maybe sticks out more than the others which decides which house you're put into. And even then with some people there's such a balance it's hard to decide where they'd be sorted, like John and Sherlock.
