Whooooooo~!Dang, hadn't posted a bit of art for a long time now.
Weeeh, might as well start the year with a Skitty ID for moi -- as well as using it as the intro for the 100 theme challenge.
We're gonna be seeing more of Ribbon later on, as I figure how to make more of these, inspiration is sort of stuck in a gutter at the moment. XD
But yeah, not dead.
Shading was something new I decided to try... It looks rubber-ish. XD

What's it's like out there?, we were considering moving there at one time, but we heard it's tough making a living out there, not that there are many rich people on Maui.

Puerto Rico is goddamn expensive, compared to the United States and other places, especially food wise. :/

I dunno, depends how things on your place are, we're currently going through quite a bit of problems over here -- along with a college strike that's been on for almost a month now, and that is getting support from a good chunk of the population.
It could be a better place, but the people in charge of administration and stuff suck most of the time (and are greedy male hoes) so yeah... XD

LOl...sounds a lot like Maui.... everything is so expensive here as well,esp food... and the job situation sucks..esp when they hire ppl from the mainland to work here for cheap while the locals are unemployed. The funny thing about food is this, when we go to the farm markets, it's pretty good prices, the time it hit's the stores, the price can go up 5 to 6 times....

They have pride around here of things that are locally made or grown, so Maui grown is a big deal, so the farm markets flourish pretty well.

I think being out in the middle of the Pacific may be one reason it's easier to have pride in the locally produced products, but don't get me wrong, most of what we get comes from the mainland... one thing that I hear about once in a while which is similar to Puerto Rico is we have Hawaiian sovereignty movement... and you have the Puerto Rican independence movement.... it would never work here though... hardly anyone in Hawaii nowadays is Hawaiian, my self included. But I do think it was totally disgraceful how Hawaii was forced to be a state.... but that's pretty much what happened on the mainland, especially the western states...when all the Native Americans had been displaced or killed to bring about new territory for the US.

The thing is for us not to get bitchy and stupid like the other side, to hold it together and let them burn them selves..... That's what I think Obama is doing... letting the right boil over and show their true colors.

I think the whole Gulf thing took too long to fix, though I applaud him for the fact that he didn't instantly dip on tax funds to fix it all -- but made the company(ies?) have to own up for it all.
Bush would have jsut invested the money of tax paying citizens and let the company free without a single scratch.
And maybe try to frame it on Iraq or some bullshit like that to encourage more war and shit.
