From the way you described her she looks like Midnight from My Hero Academia in my opinion, long black hair, uses a whip as her main weapon full body suit like a dominatrix: yeah definitely Midnight

Nancy actually has short black hair and looks like a good girl /and acts that way too at times/ but is basically a dominatrix with a full body suit and whip in combat. Remember that Nancy is one of Honest's daughters so she had to put on a "I'm a sweet and innocent girl" appearance in public for a number of reasons. Once I find a suitable pic of what Nancy looks like, I'll post her profile.

Viola: /smirks/ I'm doing all right. I've settled into my new life at St Alpine's College and am currently leading the effort to set-up the tankery team for next year. We've been engaging in a lot of practice involving tactics, accuracy, loading shells, etc. It helps that a large part of our team comes from Maginot Girls' College so we're used to tankery and all that it involves.
Do you have any other questions?

Neo-Byzantium In reply to vassilizaitzev [2020-03-25 00:13:19 +0000 UTC]
Viola: Well, I tend to prefer having my tanks take root in a strong defensive position like a forest, a rock formation or a town and lure the enemy to it. When my forces have to move for whatever reason, I have them move together in a strong defence oriented formation to cover each other. My overall goal is to force the enemy to my team's defensive position and bleed them white as they try in vain to breach my line.
I also try to take into account that the enemy will strike from different angles or come up with unconventional tactics to breach my team's defensive position which is why my forces are placed so they can support each other to avoid being taken out by a surprise move by the enemy. Of course, it'd be arrogant of me to say that nothing can possibly go wrong as my forces can possibly get ambushed by the enemy on route to an ideal defensive position or some other scenario that I haven't thought of can occur. Tankery's a learning process where anything can happen which makes it all the more interesting, next question.

Neo-Byzantium In reply to vassilizaitzev [2020-03-25 02:37:25 +0000 UTC]
Viola: That IS a concern that I've always had but to blindly charge into the enemy without considering all factors is foolish as Chihatan proved in the past. One must fight calmly and intelligently on the battlefield and while St Alpine tankery/infantry doctrine is primarily based on defence, we ARE willing to engage in slow and steady offence movements on the field of battle when need be plus as I said earlier, we don't wait for the enemy to come to us, we use our light tanks to lure the enemy to our defence position and either ambush them or force them to attack our line and get skewered by it much like how the forces of Duke Charles the Bold of Burgundy were by Swiss mercenaries in olden times.
Next question please......

How do you feel about the larger schools like Kuromorimine or Pravda?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Neo-Byzantium In reply to vassilizaitzev [2020-03-25 03:02:13 +0000 UTC]
Viola: I quite like and respect Kuromorimine and have applied to have our two teams have a joint match together against Maginot and Pravda sometime. Maho was a great commander who I deeply respect and I expect much the same from Erika.
Regarding Pravda, our two schools haven't exactly had the best history together and neither have I. It's complicated but suffice to say, I regard Pravda as a personal and professional rival to St Alpine plus Katyusha and I tend to bicker quite a bit given our respective short fuses and how she seemingly looked down at my old school Maginot and my current school St Alpine. We're working on improving relations between us however and I'll admit that they're worthy foes that you can count on doing their best in everything they do.
I'm quite fond of St Gloriana as they're quite skilled in everything they do and are quite elegant plus they're polite and friendly to even their foes. Back when I was at Maginot before the sudden change in our team's leadership, we had a nice joint match with them against Saunders and Koala Forest and then a nice post-match gathering with them where I hit off pretty well with Darjeeling, Orange Pekoe and Assam.
As for Saunders, I've always been kind of turned off by their casual behaviour as I've been taught the importance of formality and other things in social interactions. They're quite friendly of course which I appreciate but they can be somewhat over the top in their emotional reactions at times though I deeply respect how their tankery team commander Kay scolded Alisa for using a radio balloon in their match against Oarai as it showed that Kay's got a lot of character and honour to her.
On an added note, since Oarai won the national championship and are quite creative in their tactics and strategies, I regard them as an elite school so I'll tell you what I think of them as a bonus. I quite respect them and enjoyed my old school's practice match against Oarai even though we lost it plus I deeply respect and admire their tankery commander Miho and I look forward to having a match against her.
Next question....
/OOC: You should ask her how she feels about Eclair and/or about what happened from her point of view that led her to leaving Maginot. Just be polite and respectful when you ask though as it's a touchy subject for her..../

Neo-Byzantium In reply to vassilizaitzev [2020-03-25 04:37:02 +0000 UTC]
Viola: /sighs and takes in a deep breath/ That is a long story but I'll tell you about what happened as best I can. As you know, Maginot has been eliminated in the 1st round of the National tankery tournament for several years in a row but I was confident that with the right adjustments, skill and teamwork, that we'd be able to do better in the coming tournament. Four months before the last National tournament however, Eclair who was frustrated after we lost a close practice match accused then Commander Madeline of holding back their team with "archaic" defence themed tactics and challenged her for leadership of the team.
Eclair won and after becoming commander, tried to switch our tactics to those that're calvary themed and was heavily inspired by Napoleon's battle tactics. /frowns/ However, many of us were displeased with Eclair's little stunt and regarded her as a usurper who basically depose Madeline in a coup and was trampling all over Maginot's traditions for the sake of victory. As a result, we tended to be insubordinate towards her on a regular basis including me though I tried to be respectful and give her constructive criticism though I did snap at her out of frustration quite a bit and tended to disobey her orders when I felt that they were impossible or illogical so we could win or at least gain an advantage. When Madeline announced that she was leaving the team, the majority of the team left with her including part of my crew. I almost did as well but I grudgingly stayed on the team out of loyalty to it and Maginot.
After our defeat at the Nationals to Anzio in the 1st round, to a team that we should've on paper been able to defeat, I was fed up and openly blamed her for our defeat and challenged her for leadership of the team with the loser having to resign from the team. I'd planned to invite everyone who'd quit back to the team if I won so we could get everything back to normal for the coming year but sadly, I lost and so I kept my word and resigned but so did the remainder of my crew as they agreed with me. My crew and I along with many of those who'd quit the team before soon transferred to St Alpine to create a new tankery team but that's another story.
/looks sympathetic/ The problem that Eclair and I have with each other is that we're too similar in personality where it counts and have opposing tactics and strategies. She's inspired by calvary charges from the Age of Napoleon and I'm inspired by the strong defensive positions of the Western Front in WW1 and in the Maginot Line of early WW2. I don't hate Eclair or anything and in fact, I think that she's a sweet and caring girl who means well. /angry looking/ She certainly didn't deserve to be abused by those two wretched girls, those two should be sent to juvenile hall for what they did. Also, their reason for their cruel stunt was unjust as there's no shame in losing to Kuromorimine provided you do your best and to be honest, even if Madeline and the rest of us had been there and all trained up, we would've likely STILL lost as much as I hate to admit it.
/nods calmly/ I wish Eclair and the Maginot team well but if we meet in battle, I fully intend to lead my team to victory. Next question.

Viola: As a matter of fact, I have. My family and I went on vacation to France before I entered High School and we stopped off at Verdun. It was truly an epic battle and proof that the French are NOT spineless cowards who need help from everyone else to win battles. We also visited Paris, Normandy, Vichy, Toulon, Bordeaux, Marseilles and other noteworthy places throughout France, it's truly a remarkable country and seeing it made me even MORE determined to see France well represented amongst Japan's themed schools.

Viola: Well, our team is a mixture of transfer students from Maginot and newcomers to tankery plus even those of us who were on Maginot's tankery team are still getting used to the German and Italian tanks plus many of our infantry boys are still getting used to being infantrymen so we're not expecting to win the Nationals or anything in the coming year. I'm confident however that we'll make an impact in the next national tournament and will establish ourselves as a force to be reckoned with in mixed tankery/infantry. Next question.

Shiho Nishizumi isn't used to the idea of boys and girls working together in a joint sport but that's a problem a lot of people have, even me as I've spent my school years in all-girls schools and rarely interacted with boys my own age. However, I along with everyone else needs to adapt to a changing world and learn to peacefully co-exist with boys, I DO take some comfort though in the fact that many boys have the same concerns that we do.....

Viola: It's a large ship comparable in size to the school ships that the big 4 schools of tankery /Kuromorimine, Pravda, St Gloriana and Saunders/ use. It has a mini mountain used for winter sports along with a number of different sports facilities and Swiss themed shops and businesses in the city part of the ship. Also, a number of our facilities, businesses and dwellings are on decks below the surface of the ship as doing outdoor winter sports like skiing requires us to be far enough north for snow to fall and for ice to form so it pays not to have to go outside unless necessary.
