Description Threaded together, the quilt brings warmth,
covering our sleeping bodies on a rainy night.
I dream of a place where love doesn't cover distances,
Where we ride the train to Belmont,
In the afternoon.

My hands, entwined in yours,
Your footsteps, mirroring mine.
You ask me to train pidgeons to swim,
I smile and say "I'm sorry, but I have only penguins".
Another corner turned,
Another adventure to share.

I open my eyes and gaze at your face,
You smile in your sleep, and I like to pretend,
That you're dreaming of a place where love doesn't cover distances,
And we ride the train home to Jarvis,
At night.

Your hands, entwined in mine,
My footsteps, mirroring yours.
You tell me that penguins will never do,
I smile and kiss your lips as pidgeons walk by.
Another corner turned,
Another adventure shared.
